How does it feel to volunteer with St John during the coronavirus outbreak?

I would like to help people in any way I can in this scary and uncertain situation. When my grandad was admitted to hospital with the virus I was so worried and felt very helpless. It emphasised to me how important our work is. Helping to feed and bathe patients is not a job that many people want to do, but it would give me such peace of mind to know a St John volunteer was delivering that care to my grandad.

If I can give someone else that comfort then I’ll be happy that I’m doing my part.
