Please note: The PVC wipe clean curtains should be cleaned by sponging with water and a mild detergent or appropriate dilute disinfectant. It is not recommended that they be machine washed. Ensure curtains are thoroughly dry after cleaning. Water temperature should be less than 40O°C. Prolonged exposure to temperatures of 40O°C or higher leads to the breakdown of the plasticisers and cracking of the PVC. PVC is an inert material and any mould or fungal growth that appears on the surface can only come from an external source, such as bacteria or fungal spores remaining on the surface trapped within the embossed surface or in welds which have not been removed by cleaning and drying thoroughly.
