Chelmsford training venue directions

From Colchester

Take the A12 to the Boreham interchange. Cross the A12 and take the first exit at the roundabout, and straight across the next roundabout. Take the second exit at the next roundabout and straight across the next 3 roundabouts. Turn right at the final roundabout and then take a left turn at the traffic lights into Broomfield Road. After passing through the next traffic lights, turn right into Kings Road. St. John Ambulance is signposted from here.

From Bishops Stortford

Take the A1060 into Chelmsford and turn left into Chignal Road, at the traffic lights. Turn right into Melbourne Avenue, right into Langton Avenue, right into Fox Crescent and the centre is at the far end of the school.

From Brentwood

Take the A12 to the A414 Junction. Take the A414 into Chelmsford. Cross the two roundabouts onto the A1016, continue until Parkway. Turn left and stay in the left lane briefly, before turning left into Rainsford Road on the A1060. Turn right at the first traffic lights into Park Avenue, left into Swiss Avenue, left into Kings Avenue, right along Christy Avenue to the end, then left into Fox Crescent. Follow the St. John Ambulance signs.

From Southend and Basildon

Take the A130 into Chelmsford and follow directions as above (from Brentwood).

By Bus 

A bus stop near the training venue is Admirals Park, Roxwell Road served by routes 17,18, 32, 59, 62 and 676.
